Job Description: State Managing Partner

Role Overview :The State Managing Partner is a high-level leadership position responsible for the strategic expansion and operational integrity of the ShikshaRatan India Foundation within their assigned territory. This role combines business development—focused on establishing a robust statewide franchise network—with executive-level administrative management. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between state operations and the national leadership, ensuring that organizational growth is both rapid and sustainable. Key Responsibilities 1. Strategic Growth & Franchise Management Lead the nationwide expansion by identifying, vetting, and appointing trusted statelevel managers to establish a foundation presence in every major district. Serve as the primary growth catalyst for the assigned territory, ensuring the ShikshaRatan brand and mission are effectively promoted. Oversee the performance and development of state-level partners to ensure alignment with national standards. 2. Business Documentation & Reporting Prepare and refine critical business documents, including comprehensive monthly progress reports and strategic presentations for stakeholders. Draft professional proposals aimed at partnership acquisition and program funding. Analyze territorial data to provide actionable insights to the national leadership team. 3. Executive Support & Calendar Coordination Directly manage the Director’s professional calendar, ensuring optimal scheduling of appointments, site visits, and high-priority meetings. Act as a gatekeeper and liaison to streamline communications between the Director and state-level stakeholders. 4. Secretarial Operations & Governance Coordinate and organize executive meetings, including the preparation of agendas and supporting materials. Record and distribute accurate minutes of meetings, tracking all action items through to completion. Ensure all state-level administrative processes adhere to the Foundation’s governance policies. 5. Records Management & Confidentiality Establish and maintain a rigorous filing system for all state-level legal, financial, and operational records. Handle sensitive information and confidential documents with the highest level of integrity and professional discretion. Preferred Qualifications Experience: Proven track record in operations management, business development, or franchise scaling, preferably within the education or non-profit sector. Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with a "professional yet authoritative" tone. Organization: Masterful multitasking abilities and a high degree of attention to detail. Technical Proficiency: Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and virtual meeting platforms.
