Job Description – Assistant Professor (Obstetrics & Gynecological Nursing)
Position: Assistant Professor – Obstetrics & Gynecological Nursing

Key Responsibilities:
- Teach Obstetrics & Gynecological Nursing subjects to undergraduate and postgraduate nursing students.
- Prepare lesson plans, teaching materials, and conduct classroom, laboratory, and clinical teaching sessions.
- Supervise and guide students during maternity, labor room, postnatal, and gynecology clinical postings.
- Evaluate student performance through examinations, assignments, practical assessments, and clinical evaluations.
- Participate in curriculum development, academic planning, and departmental activities.
- Conduct research, publish scholarly articles, and contribute to academic and professional development initiatives.
- Organize seminars, workshops, health awareness programs, and continuing nursing education activities.
- Maintain academic records and ensure compliance with institutional and Nursing Council regulations.
- Mentor and counsel students on academic, clinical, and professional matters.
- Attend faculty meetings, conferences, workshops, and training programs.
Qualifications:
- M.Sc. Nursing with specialization in Obstetrics & Gynecological Nursing.
- Valid Nursing Council registration.
- Teaching and/or clinical experience preferred.
Skills Required:
- Strong knowledge of maternal and women's health nursing practices.
- Excellent teaching, communication, and presentation skills.
- Ability to supervise clinical training and mentor nursing students.
- Research and academic writing skills.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal abilities.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
