Job Summary
We are looking for an Accounts Executive with hands-on experience in SCM-related accounting operations and SAP transactions. The candidate should have experience in maintaining accounting/transactional records in SAP and handling inward and outward processes, material receipts, dispatches, and related documentation.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update SCM-related accounting records and transactions in SAP.
- Handle inward and outward entries for materials, goods receipts, and dispatches.
- Perform SAP booking/posting related to material movement and transactions.
- Verify inward documents, invoices, GRN, delivery challans, and supporting documents.
- Coordinate with SCM, Stores, Purchase, Sales, and Accounts teams for transaction accuracy.
- Ensure timely and accurate recording of Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, stock movement, and dispatch transactions in SAP.
- Reconcile SAP entries with physical stock and relevant supporting documents.
- Identify and resolve discrepancies in inward/outward transactions and SAP records.
- Maintain proper documentation and records for audit and internal controls.
- Prepare daily/weekly/monthly reports related to inward, outward, stock movement, and SAP transactions.
- Support month-end closing activities and provide necessary SCM-related data to the Accounts team.
- Ensure compliance with company procedures for material movement and documentation.
Key Skills & Requirements
- Graduate in B.Com / M.Com / Finance or related field.
- 2–5 years of relevant experience in Accounts + SCM/Stores operations.
- Hands-on experience in SAP is mandatory.
- Good understanding of Inward, Outward, GRN, Goods Receipt, Goods Issue, Stock Transfer and Dispatch processes.
- Experience in SAP booking/posting and transaction verification.
- Good knowledge of MS Excel.
- Strong reconciliation and documentation skills.
- Good coordination skills with Accounts, SCM, Stores, Purchase and other departments.
- Preference for candidates from manufacturing / industrial / warehouse environments.
Preferred Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have a combination of Accounts + SCM/Stores + SAP experience, rather than purely accounting experience. Candidates who have regularly handled SAP entries, inward/outward transactions, GRN, stock movement and related documentation will be preferred.
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
