Function: SITE OPERATIONS
Project Planning & Scheduling: Defining project scope, objectives, and deliverables. He/ She will create detailed timelines, often using Gantt charts or Critical Path Methods (CPM), to manage tasks and deadlines.
Budget & Cost Control: Estimating project costs, managing resource allocation, and monitoring expenditures to prevent cost overruns.
Team Leadership: Assembling and leading multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, architects & contractors/subcontractors.
Stakeholder Communication: Acting as the central point of contact for clients, government agencies, and vendors, translating technical data into actionable updates.
Risk Management: Identifying potential setbacks, such as material shortages or site hazards, and developing contingency plans to mitigate them.
Quality & Safety Compliance: Conducting site inspections to ensure all work meets building codes, environmental regulations, and safety protocols.
Required Skills & Competencies
Technical Proficiency: Deep knowledge of construction methods, building by laws, NBC Guidelines and materials. Proficiency in software like AUTO CAD, MS PROJECT and in-depth civil/architectural drawing understanding is must. Hands on experience on STAAD Pro will be an added advantage. Core Structural/ architectural BOQ in depth review and optimization experience is must to have.
Soft Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, and problem-solving abilities to resolve conflicts and motivate diverse teams.
