Create part models, assemblies, and detailed 2D/3D drawings in SolidWorks.
Perform DFM (Design for Manufacturing) and DFA (Design for Assembly) considerations in designs.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including manufacturing, quality, and procurement to optimize designs.
Conduct tolerance analysis, material selection, and stress analysis for designs.
Work on BOM (Bill of Materials) creation and ensure accuracy in documentation.
Support prototype development, testing, and troubleshooting design issues.
Ensure compliance with relevant engineering standards and safety regulations.
Continuously improve design methodologies to enhance product performance and cost-effectiveness.
