Senior QA Automation Engineer
About the Role
We are looking for an experienced Senior QA Automation Engineer to ensure the delivery of high-quality web and mobile applications through manual and automated testing. You will work closely with Product, Development, and DevOps teams to drive quality, improve automation coverage, and support continuous delivery initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, execute, and automate test cases for web and mobile applications.
- Develop and maintain automation frameworks and integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines.
- Perform functional, regression, API, performance, and security testing.
- Collaborate with developers on unit testing and promote Shift-Left testing practices.
- Partner with DevOps teams on backend validation, deployment verification, and quality controls.
- Review code changes, investigate defects, and validate bug fixes.
- Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) for product features and enhancements.
- Analyze quality metrics and recommend process improvements and risk mitigation strategies.
- Mentor QA team members and contribute to onboarding and knowledge sharing.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance within a professional development environment.
- 5+ years of experience working in Agile teams using Scrum and/or Kanban methodologies.
- Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, testing methodologies, and software quality best practices.
- 2+ years of experience automating iOS applications using Appium, Selenium, and TestNG.
- 2+ years of experience automating Android applications using Espresso, Kotlin, and Marathon.
- 2+ years of experience automating web applications using Cypress, TypeScript, and Node.js.
- Experience with codeless automation tools such as Katalon or similar platforms.
- Experience with API and web services testing, including functional and business logic validation.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and automation integration.
- Strong knowledge of DevOps practices, AWS cloud environments, and distributed test execution technologies such as Selenium Grid and Docker.
- Experience using JIRA (or similar tools) for defect tracking and Git-based version control systems (GitHub, GitLab, Bitbucket).
- Comfortable working in Linux and macOS environments.
Preferred Qualifications
- Agile or Scrum certification.
- Experience with Jenkins pipeline configuration and administration.
- Experience working with BLE modules and firmware testing.
- Experience collaborating with remote and globally distributed teams.
- Passion for evaluating and implementing new QA tools, frameworks, and processes.

Pay: ₹233,975.00 - ₹280,770.00 per month
