Position Summary
The HR Executive (Generalist) will manage the day-to-day operations of the Human Resources department, supporting the entire employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding to compliance, payroll coordination, and performance management. This role acts as a primary point of contact for employee queries and works closely with department heads to maintain a productive, legally compliant, and positive work environment.
Key Responsibilities1. End-to-End Recruitment & Onboarding
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle, including sourcing, resume screening, scheduling interviews, and candidate communication.
- Collaborate with hiring managers across departments (Operations, Engineering, Administration) to identify staffing needs and draft clear job descriptions.
- Design and execute an engaging onboarding and induction program to ensure new hires integrate smoothly into the company culture.
2. Employee Relations & Engagement
- Act as the first line of contact for employee queries regarding policies, grievances, and leaves.
- Mediate workplace conflicts and assist managers with disciplinary actions and documentation fairly and constructively.
- Plan and implement employee engagement initiatives, feedback surveys, and team-building activities to drive retention and boost morale.
3. Performance Management & Training
- Coordinate the annual or quarterly performance appraisal frameworks and track goal setting.
- Assist managers in addressing employee performance gaps through constructive support plans.
- Identify training needs across skilled, semi-skilled, and administrative staff, and organize training or development modules.
4. HR Administration, Payroll, & HRIS Management
- Maintain precise, confidential electronic and physical employee records within the HRIS (Human Resources Information System).
- Track daily attendance, leaves, and overtime data to prepare and submit monthly inputs for payroll processing.
- Manage the offboarding process, including exit interviews, clearing documentation, and coordinating final settlements.
5. Statutory Compliance & Labor Laws
- Ensure all HR practices, workplace safety initiatives, and policies strictly comply with applicable local, state, and central labor laws (e.g., Factories Act, Industrial Relations Codes, PF, and ESIC regulations where relevant).
- Coordinate and assist with regular audits of internal HR processes and documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 1 to 4 years of proven experience as an HR Generalist or HR Executive (experience in fast-paced operational or manufacturing environments is a plus).
- Core Skills:
- Strong working knowledge of employment/labor laws and statutory compliance.
- Proficiency with HRIS software, Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and advanced MS Office (Excel, Word).
- Excellent interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills.
- Proven problem-solving and conflict mediation abilities.
- High discretion and commitment to handling sensitive employee data confidentially.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
