Job Summary
The Social Science Teacher is responsible for teaching History, Geography, Civics, Economics, and related Social Science subjects. The teacher will create an engaging learning environment that develops students' critical thinking, analytical skills, civic awareness, and understanding of society and culture. Key ResponsibilitiesAcademic Responsibilities
- Plan and deliver effective Social Science lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Teach concepts of History, Geography, Civics, Economics, and current affairs.
- Prepare annual plans, unit plans, lesson plans, worksheets, and assessments.
- Use activity-based, project-based, and technology-enabled teaching methods.
- Encourage inquiry, discussion, debate, and critical thinking among students.

Student Assessment & Development
- Conduct periodic tests, assignments, projects, and examinations.
- Assess student performance and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and academic progress.

Classroom Management
- Maintain discipline and create a positive learning environment.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in History, Geography, Political Science, Economics, Social Science, or a related field.
- B.Ed. (Mandatory).
- CTET/State TET qualification preferred.
- 1–3 years of teaching experience in a CBSE/State Board school preferred.
