The EDI Filing Executive is responsible for preparing, submitting, and managing Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) filings related to import/export shipments. The role ensures compliance with customs regulations, accurate documentation, and timely coordination with internal teams, customs brokers, shipping lines, and government authorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file EDI documents for import and export shipments.
- Ensure timely submission of shipping bills, bills of entry, and customs declarations.
- Verify shipping documents such as:
- Commercial Invoice
- Packing List
- Bill of Lading/Airway Bill
- Purchase Orders
- Certificates of Origin (if applicable)
- Coordinate with customs brokers, CHA, freight forwarders, and logistics teams.
- Monitor EDI filing status and resolve system or documentation errors.
- Ensure compliance with customs regulations and company SOPs.
- Maintain accurate filing records and documentation.
- Follow up on customs queries and shipment clearances.
- Generate reports related to EDI transactions and shipment status.
- Support audit and compliance requirements.
Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
