About the Role
We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with 4–5 years of experience to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in Python, backend development, REST APIs, databases, and modern web frameworks. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable applications while collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend applications using Python.
- Build and consume RESTful APIs and integrate third-party services.
- Develop applications using Python frameworks such as Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Write clean, reusable, and well-documented code following coding standards.
- Optimize application performance, scalability, and security.
- Design and manage relational and NoSQL databases.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.
- Collaborate with frontend developers, QA engineers, and DevOps teams.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to software architecture discussions.
- Work in an Agile development environment and ensure timely delivery of projects.
Required Skills
- 4–5 years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Strong proficiency in Python 3.x.
- Experience with Django, Flask, or FastAPI.
- Strong understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.
- Experience with PostgreSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB.
- Knowledge of ORM frameworks such as SQLAlchemy or Django ORM.
- Proficiency with Git and version control practices.
- Experience with Docker and containerized application development.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud is an advantage.
- Understanding of CI/CD pipelines and deployment processes.
- Good knowledge of software design principles, OOP, and data structures.
- Strong analytical, debugging, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Redis, Celery, or RabbitMQ.
- Exposure to Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Knowledge of authentication methods such as JWT and OAuth.
- Experience with unit testing and automated testing frameworks.
- Basic understanding of frontend technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in Python or cloud technologies are a plus.
