Job Summary
VIBGYOR High School, NIBM, Pune, is seeking a passionate and dedicated Senior Secondary English Teacher to teach Grades 9–12. The ideal candidate should have experience teaching CBSE and/or CISCE curriculum, possess excellent communication skills, and be committed to creating an engaging and student-centric learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver English lessons in accordance with CBSE/CISCE curriculum guidelines.
- Teach English Language and Literature to students of Grades 9–12.
- Develop lesson plans, assignments, assessments, and instructional materials.
- Evaluate and monitor student performance through regular tests, projects, and examinations.
- Foster critical thinking, creativity, communication, and analytical skills among students.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessments, and academic progress.
- Provide constructive feedback and support to students for their academic growth.
- Participate in parent-teacher meetings, school events, and professional development programs.
- Collaborate with colleagues and coordinators to ensure effective curriculum delivery.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
Required Skills
- Strong command of spoken and written English.
- Sound knowledge of CBSE and/or CISCE curriculum and assessment patterns.
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Proficiency in using technology and digital teaching tools.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
Eligibility Criteria
- B.A./M.A. in English.
- B.Ed. is Mandatory.
- 1–4 years of teaching experience in a reputed school.
- Experience teaching Senior Secondary Grades (9–12) preferred.
- Immediate joiners will be preferred.
