Job Title: IT Admin/ Engineer – IT Scrap Inspection & Asset Verification
Role Overview:
We are looking for freelance IT professionals/vendors who can visit client locations to inspect IT scrap materials, verify assets, prepare inventory reports, and provide accurate valuation/quotation reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- Visit client locations as assigned by the company.
- Physically inspect IT scrap materials such as laptops, desktops, servers, networking devices, printers, and other IT assets.
- Verify asset details including make, model, configuration, serial numbers, and physical condition.
- Prepare detailed inventory and inspection reports with photographs.
- Assess the condition and resale/scrap value of the assets.
- Submit a professional quotation/report to the company within the specified timeline.
- Coordinate with client representatives during inspections.
- Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of all inspected assets.
Requirements:
- Experience in IT hardware, asset management, IT support, or e-waste/scrap evaluation.
- Good knowledge of computer hardware, networking equipment, and IT infrastructure.
- Ability to identify asset specifications and assess hardware condition.
- Strong reporting and documentation skills.
- Willingness to travel to client locations.
- Own laptop/mobile device for preparing reports and sharing inspection data.
