Clinical Psychologist – Job Description
Position: Clinical Psychologist
Department: Mental Health / Psychology
Location: Life Care Polyclinic, Vikaspuri, Delhi
Employment Type: Consultant / Part-Time / Revenue Sharing
Minimum Qualification: M.Phil. in Clinical Psychology from a recognised institution, along with valid professional registration/licence as applicable under prevailing law.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and clinical evaluations.
- Provide individual psychological counselling and therapy.
- Assess and manage common mental-health and behavioural concerns within the psychologist's scope of practice.
- Conduct appropriate psychological testing and prepare assessment reports.
- Provide counselling for children, adolescents, adults and families, as appropriately qualified.
- Work collaboratively with psychiatrists, physicians, paediatricians and other healthcare professionals.
- Maintain proper patient records, case notes and treatment documentation.
- Maintain strict patient confidentiality and professional ethics.
- Identify cases requiring psychiatric/medical intervention and make appropriate referrals.
- Participate in mental-health awareness and patient education activities conducted by the clinic.
- Follow Life Care Polyclinic's patient-safety, documentation and operational protocols.

Professional Requirements:
- Valid qualification and registration/licence as required by applicable law.
- Compliance with applicable professional and ethical standards.
- Prior clinical experience will be preferred.
Engagement Model:
The position may be offered on a 70:30 professional revenue-sharing basis, where 70% is the doctor's professional share and 30% is Life Care Polyclinic's share, subject to the mutually agreed terms.
Clinic Support:
Life Care Polyclinic will provide consultation space/cabin, basic infrastructure, patient registration and coordination, administrative support, and reasonable assistance in promoting and developing the doctor's OPD.
Expected Commitment:
The Clinical Psychologist is expected to honour the mutually agreed OPD timings and provide advance notice in case of unavoidable absence or change in schedule.
Pay: ₹14,444.50 - ₹21,673.10 per month
