As a Custom Software Engineering Lead, a typical day involves overseeing the technical direction and architectural design of custom software solutions. The position focuses on establishing development standards and ensuring that the software meets high benchmarks for quality, scalability, and performance. Collaboration with various stakeholders to align technical efforts with business goals is a key aspect, along with continuous monitoring and refinement of the software architecture to support evolving requirements and challenges.
Roles & Responsibilities:
- Expected to be an SME, collaborate and manage the team to perform.
- Responsible for team decisions.
- Engage with multiple teams and contribute on key decisions.
- Provide solutions to problems for their immediate team and across multiple teams.
- Lead the development and implementation of best practices to enhance software quality and efficiency.
- Facilitate communication and coordination between cross-functional teams to ensure seamless project execution.
- Mentor junior team members to support their professional growth and skill development.
Professional & Technical Skills:
- Must To Have Skills: Proficiency in SAP for Utilities CRM.
- Strong knowledge of software architecture principles and design patterns relevant to custom software development.
- Experience in setting and enforcing coding standards to maintain high-quality deliverables.
- Ability to analyze and optimize system performance and scalability in complex software environments.
- Skilled in leading technical teams and managing collaborative development efforts.
- Familiarity with software development lifecycle methodologies and tools.
Additional Information:
