WE'RE HIRING — VIDEO EDITOR
ThePhotoHub® is looking for a talented, creative and passionate Video Editor to join our growing production team.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of storytelling, cinematic editing, wedding films, music synchronization, colour correction and visual continuity.
Your role will be to transform raw footage into engaging, emotional and visually compelling films that reflect the ThePhotoHub® creative standard.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review and organize raw video footage from wedding and event productions.
- Understand the creative brief and requirements of the production team.
- Select the best shots based on storytelling, emotion, continuity and visual quality.
- Trim, arrange and assemble footage into professional sequences.
- Create cinematic wedding films, highlights, teasers, reels and promotional videos.
- Add music, dialogue, sound effects, graphics, transitions and other visual effects.
- Perform colour correction and maintain consistent visual quality.
- Create rough cuts and final edits according to project requirements.
- Ensure smooth pacing, logical sequencing and strong storytelling.
- Work closely with cinematographers, creative leads and production teams.
- Complete projects within agreed deadlines while maintaining consistent quality.
- Stay updated with new editing techniques, technologies, trends and industry best practices.
- Maintain organized project files, footage and editing workflows.
REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS
- Proven professional experience as a Video Editor.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant video editing experience preferred.
- Strong portfolio / showreel demonstrating editing ability.
- Experience in Wedding Photography & Filming / Event Films is an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of Adobe Premiere Pro.
- Knowledge of After Effects / DaVinci Resolve / Final Cut Pro is an added advantage.
- Good understanding of timing, pacing, motivation and continuity.
- Knowledge of music synchronization and sound design.
- Understanding of colour correction and colour grading.
- Familiarity with transitions, visual effects, compositing and motion graphics.
- Strong creative thinking and storytelling ability.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently as well as within a creative team.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
SALARY
₹20,000 – ₹25,000 per month
Salary will be based on experience, editing skills, portfolio and overall performance.
