About the Opportunity
Moksa Retails Global Pvt Ltd is looking for a dynamic, result-oriented, and highly aggressive sales leader with strong expertise in Consumer Electronics offline sales and distribution management.
The ideal candidate must have a proven track record in driving business growth, expanding distribution networks, strengthening retail presence, and leading large regional sales operations with strong execution discipline.
This role requires hands-on experience in categories such as:
- LED TVs
- Air Conditioners
- Washing Machines
- Refrigerators
- Home Appliances
The candidate should possess deep market understanding, strong distributor relationships, and the ability to drive market share growth through offline retail and channel expansion.
Important Eligibility Criteria
- ONLY candidates from Consumer Electronics / Consumer Durables Offline Sales background will be considered.
- Candidates from FMCG, Telecom, Pharma, BFSI, Building Materials, Mobile Accessories, Audio Products, or unrelated industries will not be considered.
- Prior experience in handling offline distribution and retail sales for Consumer Electronics brands is mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Growth
- Drive primary and secondary sales growth across assigned territories.
- Deliver regional revenue, market share, and profitability targets.
- Develop and execute aggressive business expansion strategies.
- Identify new growth markets, business opportunities, and high-potential territories.
- Ensure achievement of monthly, quarterly, and annual business objectives.
Distribution & Channel Expansion
- Appoint, develop, and manage distributors across key geographies.
- Strengthen retail penetration and improve channel coverage.
- Drive expansion in General Trade and multi-brand retail outlets.
- Ensure effective retailer activation and market reach enhancement.
- Build a scalable and sustainable distribution ecosystem.
Market Execution & Trade Development
- Ensure excellent in-store visibility, merchandising, branding, and retail execution.
- Drive implementation of trade schemes, dealer incentives, promotions, and activation programs.
- Monitor competitor activities, pricing, product movement, and market intelligence.
- Ensure high standards of execution discipline across all territories.
Team Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead, mentor, and drive performance of Area Sales Managers (ASMs) and field sales teams.
- Build a strong execution-oriented and target-driven sales culture.
- Conduct regular business reviews, market working, and performance evaluations.
- Coach teams on distribution expansion, retailer engagement, and conversion strategies.
- Drive accountability and operational excellence across the region.
Distributor & Retailer Management
- Develop strong relationships with distributors, dealers, and key retail partners.
- Ensure distributor profitability, healthy ROI, and long-term engagement.
- Resolve channel escalations related to supply, stock rotation, claims, and commercial matters.
- Monitor inventory health, liquidation planning, and stock movement efficiency.
Strategic Planning & Cross-functional Coordination
- Prepare regional business plans, sales forecasts, and growth strategies.
- Provide actionable market insights and business recommendations to leadership.
- Collaborate closely with Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Operations, and Service teams for seamless execution.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives and field execution.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 10–12 years of experience in Consumer Electronics / Consumer Durables Offline Sales.
- Strong experience in categories such as:
- LED TVs
- Air Conditioners
- Washing Machines
- Refrigerators
- Home Appliances
- Proven expertise in channel sales, distribution expansion, and retail management.
- Strong network within the Consumer Electronics trade ecosystem.
- Demonstrated success in handling large territories and achieving aggressive sales targets.
- Experience in managing regional sales teams and distributor networks.
- Excellent leadership, negotiation, analytical, and relationship management skills.
- Highly result-oriented with strong execution capabilities.
- Comfortable with extensive travel and field working.
Preferred Industry Experience
Candidates currently working with or having prior experience in leading Consumer Electronics / Consumer Durable brands will be preferred.
