Role Summary
The Central Store Keeper will be responsible for the end-to-end custody, control, and reconciliation of stock across all Aeden Fruits warehouses. The role acts as the single point of accountability for inventory accuracy, stock movement, and compliance with storage and documentation standards for fresh produce and packed goods, and works closely with the Finance & Accounts team to ensure stock records are accurate, auditable, and aligned with the company's books of accounts.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain centralized oversight of stock across all warehouse locations, ensuring accurate, real-time inventory records.
- Monitor and consolidate stock data (receipts, issues, transfers, returns, and damages) from all warehouses into a single, reliable system of record.
- Conduct and coordinate periodic physical stock verification and cycle counts across warehouses; investigate and resolve discrepancies between physical and system stock.
- Ensure proper storage practices (FIFO/FEFO, batch and expiry tracking) appropriate for perishable fruit produce and packed FMCG goods to minimize spoilage, wastage, and damage.
- Review and approve Goods Receipt Notes (GRN), stock transfer notes, and material issue vouchers across locations for accuracy and completeness.
- Coordinate with warehouse-level store staff to standardize stock-keeping practices, bin/rack management, and documentation across all sites.
- Reconcile stock registers and inventory reports with the Finance & Accounts team on a monthly basis; support month-end and year-end stock valuation and closing.
- Support internal and statutory audits by providing accurate stock data, documentation, and audit trails on demand.
- Track and report fast-moving, slow-moving, and non-moving (aging) stock to support purchase planning and working capital decisions.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety norms, and statutory requirements (e.g., FSSAI/storage norms where applicable) across all warehouses.
- Flag stock shortages, excess inventory, or process gaps proactively to the Head – Finance & Accounting.
- Maintain documentation for insurance, loss/damage claims, and write-offs related to warehouse stock.
- Supervise, train, and guide warehouse-level storekeepers/store assistants on stock handling and reporting discipline.
Required Qualifications & Experience
- Graduate in any discipline; a degree/diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, or Commerce is preferred.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in store keeping, warehouse operations, or inventory/stock control, with significant exposure to FMCG, fresh produce, or food/perishables handling.
- Prior experience overseeing stock across multiple warehouse/branch locations is strongly preferred.
- Hands-on experience with inventory/ERP systems (e.g., Tally, SAP, Zoho Inventory, or similar) is required.
- Working knowledge of stock reconciliation, batch/expiry management, and basic accounting linkages (GRN, stock valuation, COGS) is essential, given the reporting line to Finance.
Key Skills & Attributes
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record-keeping.
- Good working knowledge of MS Excel for stock reporting and reconciliation.
- Strong organizational and multi-site coordination skills.
- High personal integrity, given direct accountability for company stock/assets.
- Clear communication skills to liaise effectively with Finance, Procurement, Sales, and warehouse teams.
- Ability to travel periodically to other warehouse locations for audits and verification.

Reports to: Head – Finance & Accounting
Direct reports: Warehouse-level Storekeepers / Store Assistants (dotted or direct line, depending on org structure)
Pay: ₹600,000.00 - ₹650,000.00 per year
