Job Description: OTC (Over-the-Counter) Analyst – Crypto
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and client-focused OTC Analyst to manage and support over-the-counter cryptocurrency trades. The role involves direct interaction with high-value clients, onboarding new clients, executing and settling OTC trades, and ensuring smooth communication between internal teams and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of crypto markets, and excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
Key Responsibilities
Manage end-to-end OTC crypto trade execution, including pricing, confirmation, settlement, and post-trade support
Act as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring timely responses and high service standards
Handle client onboarding, including KYC/AML documentation, account setup, and compliance coordination
Communicate OTC quotes, market trends, and trade terms clearly to clients
Conduct negotiations with clients on pricing, volume, spreads, and settlement timelines
- Perform accurate calculations related to trade value, margins, fees, and exchange rates
- Monitor crypto market movements to support informed pricing and trade decisions
- Maintain detailed records of OTC transactions, client interactions, and trade confirmations
- Coordinate with internal teams such as compliance, operations, finance, and risk management
- Ensure adherence to regulatory requirements, internal policies, and risk controls
- Identify opportunities to improve client experience and increase OTC trading volumes
Required Skills & Competencies
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong client handling and relationship management abilities
Hands-on experience with client onboarding processes (KYC/AML)
Strong negotiation and persuasion skills
Exceptional numerical, analytical, and calculation skills
- Deep understanding of cryptocurrency markets, blockchain concepts, and OTC trading
- Ability to explain complex crypto concepts in a simple and client-friendly manner
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced trading environment
Technical Knowledge
In-depth knowledge of major cryptocurrencies (BTC, ETH, USDT, etc.)
- Understanding of OTC desks, liquidity, spreads, and settlement processes
- Familiarity with crypto exchanges, wallets, and custody solutions
- Awareness of compliance standards and regulatory frameworks related to crypto trading.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, Commerce, or a related field
- 1–3 years of experience in OTC trading, crypto operations, trading desk support, or a similar role
- Prior experience in crypto/fintech organizations preferred

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹45,000.00 per month
