Job Description: AVP - Projects (Real Estate)
Position Title: AVP – Projects (Construction)
Location: Jaipur, Rajasthan
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced and dynamic AVP - Projects to oversee and
manage the lifecycle of our real estate projects. The ideal candidate will be a seasoned civil
engineer with over 18 years of experience in the industry, demonstrating exceptional
leadership and communication skills and a comprehensive understanding of project execution
from inception to completion.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Project Planning and Management:
o Develop and implement project plans, schedules and budgets.
o Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope and within budget.
o Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless
execution of projects.
o Establish and maintain relationships with contractors, suppliers and other
stakeholders.
2. Execution and Monitoring:
o Oversee the day-to-day operations of projects to ensure they align with the
approved plans.
o Monitor and track project progress, addressing any issues that arise.
o Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and other legal
requirements.
o Conduct regular site visits to oversee quality control and ensure projects are
progressing as planned.
3. Leadership and Team Management:
o Lead, mentor and manage project teams, including project managers,
engineers, and site supervisors.
o Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture within the team.
o Provide training and development opportunities for team members.
4. Stakeholder Communication and Reporting:
o Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications.
o Prepare and present regular project updates and reports to senior management
and stakeholders.
o Address and resolve any project-related conflicts or issues.
5. Risk Management:
o Identify and mitigate potential risks throughout the project lifecycle.
o Develop contingency plans to address potential challenges and ensure project
continuity.
6. Financial Oversight:
o Manage project finances, including budget preparation, cost tracking and
financial reporting.
o Ensure efficient allocation of resources and control project expenses.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; Master's degree preferred.
Minimum of 18 years of experience in project management within the real estate
industry.
Proven track record of managing large-scale real estate projects from inception to
completion.
Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Proficiency in project management software and tools.
Comprehensive knowledge of construction methods, materials and legal regulations.
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
Preferred Skills:
PMP or similar project management certification.
Experience with green building practices and sustainable construction methods.
Familiarity with the latest industry trends and technologies.
Compensation: Competitive salary and benefits package commensurate
Pay: ₹2,550,459.21 - ₹4,621,498.04 per year
