Job Summary
MIT Vishwashanti Gurukul School, Chhatrapati Sambhajinagar is seeking a creative and passionate PRT Art Teacher to nurture artistic skills and creativity among primary school students. The candidate should be able to create an engaging learning environment that encourages imagination, self-expression, and artistic development.
Preference
Local candidates will be preferred.
Key Responsibilities
- Teach Art and Craft to primary school students as per the school curriculum.
- Plan and conduct creative activities, projects, and exhibitions.
- Develop students' drawing, painting, sketching, and craft-making skills.
- Encourage creativity, innovation, and artistic expression.
- Prepare lesson plans, assignments, and assessments.
- Maintain art supplies and classroom resources.
- Participate in school events, exhibitions, and cultural programs.
- Maintain student progress records and provide feedback to parents.
Required Qualification
- Bachelor’s Degree in Fine Arts (BFA), Applied Arts, Visual Arts, or relevant field.
- Diploma/Degree in Art Education preferred.
- B.Ed. will be an added advantage.
Experience
- Minimum 1–3 years of teaching experience preferred.
- Freshers with excellent artistic skills may also apply.
Skills Required
- Strong knowledge of drawing, painting, craft work, and creative activities.
- Good communication and classroom management skills.
- Ability to inspire and engage young learners.
- Basic computer knowledge and smart classroom handling skills.
