Security Assignment Manager – IT Parks & Corporate Campuses
Experience
10+ years of experience in Security Management, with significant experience managing security operations in IT Parks, Technology Campuses, Corporate Offices, SEZs, or large commercial facilities.
Role Overview
We are looking for an elite and highly experienced Security Assignment Manager to lead and oversee end-to-end security operations for a large-scale IT Park/corporate campus.
The ideal candidate will be a strong security professional with a proven track record in managing large security teams, implementing robust security systems, handling critical incidents, and maintaining a safe, secure, and professional environment for employees, visitors, assets, and clients.
The role requires exceptional leadership, discipline, operational control, crisis-management capabilities, and the ability to work closely with senior management and corporate stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Take complete ownership of security operations across the assigned IT Park/corporate campus.
- Lead, manage, and motivate a large team of security personnel, supervisors, and security officers.
- Develop and implement comprehensive security policies, SOPs, emergency procedures, and access-control protocols.
- Ensure effective deployment and utilization of security manpower across all critical locations.
- Manage access control, visitor management, vehicle movement, perimeter security, patrolling, surveillance, and control-room operations.
- Oversee the effective functioning of CCTV, access-control systems, alarms, electronic security systems, and other security technologies.
- Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, inspections, and risk assessments.
- Identify potential security threats and implement appropriate preventive and corrective measures.
- Lead the response to security incidents, emergencies, fire incidents, medical emergencies, theft, unauthorized access, workplace disturbances, and other critical situations.
- Establish and maintain strong coordination with police, fire & rescue services, local authorities, emergency services, and other external agencies.
- Coordinate with Facility Management, Administration, HR, EHS, Operations, and senior management to ensure integrated security and emergency preparedness.
- Conduct regular mock drills, emergency response exercises, evacuation drills, and security awareness programs.
- Ensure strict compliance with client requirements, statutory regulations, company policies, and security standards.
- Prepare and review daily, weekly, and monthly security reports, incident reports, MIS, and management dashboards.
- Monitor contractor and vendor compliance with security requirements.
- Investigate security incidents and prepare detailed investigation reports with root-cause analysis and preventive actions.
- Maintain high standards of discipline, grooming, conduct, and professionalism among the security workforce.
- Develop security training programs and continuously improve the competency of the security team.
- Review manpower requirements, shift deployment, attendance, leave management, and performance of security personnel.
- Drive continuous improvement through technology, automation, intelligence-led security, and risk-based security planning.
- Be available to manage and lead critical situations requiring immediate decision-making and senior-level intervention.
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should possess:
- 10+ years of professional experience in security management.
- Strong and demonstrable experience in IT Parks, technology campuses, corporate environments, SEZs, or large commercial facilities.
- Experience managing large-scale security operations and sizeable security teams.
- Excellent understanding of modern physical security systems and technologies.
- Strong knowledge of CCTV surveillance, access control, visitor management, perimeter protection, command/control rooms, and emergency response systems.
- Proven experience in crisis management and incident response.
- Excellent leadership, communication, negotiation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to independently assess risks and make quick, sound decisions during emergencies.
- High level of integrity, discipline, confidentiality, and professional maturity.
- Strong documentation, reporting, and presentation skills.
- Ability to interact confidently with senior management, corporate clients, government authorities, and law-enforcement agencies.
Preferred Qualifications
- Graduate degree or equivalent qualification.
- Professional qualification in Security Management, Risk Management, Facility Management, or a related discipline.
- Experience in managing security operations for large IT Parks/corporate campuses will be highly preferred.
- Exposure to BCP, Business Continuity, Emergency Management, Crisis Management, and Disaster Preparedness will be an advantage.
- Experience with security technology, command centres, integrated security systems, and security analytics will be preferred.
