Black Bird Tourism is looking for enthusiastic, customer-focused, and travel-passionate individuals to join our team as a Travel Consultant. This role is ideal for candidates who enjoy interacting with people, planning travel experiences, and promoting the incredible destinations of Northeast India.
We are hiring for two tracks:
- Full-Time Travel Consultant
- 3-Month Paid Training & Internship Program

About the Role
As a Travel Consultant, you will be responsible for handling customer enquiries, designing travel itineraries, preparing quotations, coordinating bookings, and assisting clients throughout their travel journey.
You will play a key role in converting travel enquiries into confirmed bookings while delivering excellent customer service.
Key ResponsibilitiesSales & Client Management
- Handle inbound travel enquiries through phone calls, WhatsApp, email, and social media
- Understand customer requirements and recommend suitable travel packages
- Prepare customized itineraries and travel quotations
- Convert enquiries into confirmed bookings
- Follow up with prospective clients and maintain customer relationships
- Coordinate hotel bookings, transportation, sightseeing, and travel services
- Maintain booking records, payment details, and customer feedback
- Achieve monthly sales and conversion targets
Travel Operations Support
- Coordinate with hotels, transport providers, and local vendors
- Ensure smooth execution of tour packages
- Assist clients before, during, and after their travel
- Handle customer concerns professionally and efficiently
- Stay updated on tourism trends and destination information
Requirements – Full-Time RoleMust Have
- Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi
- Good computer proficiency including MS Office, Email Communication, Internet Browsing, and Online Booking Platforms
- Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
- Strong follow-up and sales closing abilities
Preferred Qualifications
- Educational background in Travel & Tourism, Hospitality, BBA, Marketing, Mass Communication, or related fields
- Freshers from Travel & Tourism educational backgrounds are encouraged to apply
- Experience in Travel, Tourism, Hospitality, Sales, or Customer Service will be an added advantage
- Knowledge of popular tourist destinations across Northeast India
- Ability to communicate in Assamese, Bengali, Hindi, and English will be preferred
Training & Internship Program (3 Months)
We welcome applications from students and fresh graduates who are passionate about travel and tourism.
Successful candidates will undergo a structured training program covering:
- Travel package planning
- Customer handling and sales techniques
- Itinerary preparation
- Quotation creation
- Vendor coordination
- Northeast India destination knowledge
- Travel operations and booking management

- Minimum Qualification: 12th Pass
- Students pursuing or recently completed Tourism Management, Hospitality, BBA, Marketing, Journalism, Mass Communication, or related courses
- Fresh graduates looking to build a career in the travel industry

Salary StructureTraining Period (First 3 Months)
₹5,000 per month
After Successful Completion of Training
₹10,000 per month
