About the Role
We are looking for a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Lab Assistant to support our Research & Development team in cosmetic product development. The ideal candidate will assist with formulation trials, sample preparation, laboratory maintenance, testing activities, and documentation while ensuring compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards.

Key ResponsibilitiesLaboratory Support
- Assist the R&D team in formulation trials and product development activities.
- Prepare laboratory samples, batches, and prototypes according to approved procedures.
- Accurately weigh, measure, and mix raw materials for product formulations.
- Maintain cleanliness, hygiene, and organization of laboratory workstations and equipment.
- Sterilize and clean laboratory utensils, glassware, and instruments.
- Ensure proper handling and storage of raw materials and samples.
Testing & Documentation
- Support basic physical, stability, and compatibility testing of cosmetic products.
- Record observations, test results, and formulation data accurately.
- Maintain laboratory logbooks, trial records, and technical documentation.
- Label, organize, and store samples for easy tracking and future reference.
- Assist in preparing reports and maintaining product development records.
Compliance & Safety
- Follow laboratory safety protocols and company procedures.
- Ensure proper use and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Support compliance with quality standards and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Qualifications & Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Cosmetic Science, Biotechnology, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or a related field.
- 2-3 years of laboratory experience in cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, personal care, or related industries.
- Basic understanding of laboratory procedures and testing methods.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
