Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Linux Platform Development Engineer to join our engineering team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in embedded software development, Linux platform development, device driver development, and scripting for automation. You will work on next-generation embedded platforms across Linux, QNX, and Android environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain embedded software and middleware components for Linux, QNX, and Android platforms.
- Develop, customize, and optimize device drivers to ensure reliable hardware interaction.
- Create automation scripts using Python and Shell scripting to improve development efficiency.
- Debug complex software issues using tools such as JTAG, Lauterbach, and trace tools.
- Collaborate with cross-functional engineering teams to integrate software components and deliver high-quality products.
- Participate in the complete software development lifecycle, including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
- Continuously improve software performance by applying the latest Linux kernel and embedded systems technologies.
Required Skills
- 3–10 years of hands-on experience in Embedded C/C++ development.
- Strong experience with Linux, QNX, and Android operating systems.
- Hands-on experience in Linux/Android/QNX Device Driver Development.
- Proficiency in Python and Shell scripting for automation.
- Experience using debugging tools such as JTAG, Lauterbach, and trace tools.
- Strong debugging, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with Linux Kernel Development.
- Knowledge of NVM, eMMC, and UFS storage technologies.
- Experience with embedded middleware and platform software development.
