About the Role
SWBI Architects is looking for a detail-oriented BIM Modeler – MEP to join our BIM team. The role involves developing and maintaining accurate BIM models across all MEP disciplines, including HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Electrical Services, while ensuring seamless coordination with architects, structural engineers, and other consultants.
The ideal candidate should have a strong understanding of MEP systems, BIM workflows, and Revit modeling standards, with a passion for delivering coordinated, clash-free models.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain BIM models for HVAC, Plumbing, Fire Fighting, and Electrical services using Autodesk Revit.
- Prepare coordinated LOD-based MEP models and construction documentation as per project requirements.
- Create and modify Revit families for MEP components as required.
- Perform model coordination and participate in clash detection and clash resolution using Navisworks or equivalent BIM coordination tools.
- Coordinate closely with architects, structural engineers, consultants, and project teams to ensure seamless model integration.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Architecture/Engineering, or any relevant technical discipline.
- 2–4 years of experience in BIM modeling for MEP services.
- Strong proficiency in Autodesk Revit (MEP).
- Working knowledge of Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC).
- Knowledge of MEP construction drawings and installation practices will be an advantage.
- Strong communication and coordination skills with multidisciplinary project teams.
