Job Summary
Bocxy Technologies Private Limited is seeking a Business Analyst with strong functional expertise in Finance & Accounts to support the analysis, design, and implementation of ERP solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a thorough understanding of accounting processes, taxation, and financial workflows, along with the ability to translate business requirements into clear functional specifications for software development.
The role requires close collaboration with clients, product teams, developers, and quality assurance teams to deliver scalable and efficient ERP solutions.
Key Responsibilities
* Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements through client interactions, workshops, and stakeholder discussions.
* Analyze Finance & Accounts business processes and translate business needs into functional requirements.
* Prepare and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRD), Functional Requirement Documents (FRD), Software Requirement Specifications (SRS), user stories, and business process flow diagrams.
* Understand and define ERP workflows related to Finance & Accounts modules.
* Conduct gap analysis and recommend process improvements and system enhancements.
* Collaborate with Product Managers, Development, and QA teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
* Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), implementation, deployment, and post-go-live activities.
* Prepare user manuals, functional documentation, and training materials.
* Ensure solution delivery aligns with business requirements and project objectives.
Required Skills & Competencies
* 1–4 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in ERP or Finance & Accounts projects.
* Strong functional knowledge of Finance & Accounts, including:
* Chart of Accounts (COA)
* General Ledger (GL)
* Accounts Payable (AP)
* Accounts Receivable (AR)
* Fixed Assets and Depreciation
* Bank Reconciliation
* Budgeting and Financial Reporting
* Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss
* Month-End and Year-End Closing Processes
* Strong understanding of Indian taxation, including:
* GST
* TDS
* TCS
* Input Tax Credit (ITC)
* E-Invoicing and E-way bill
* Tax Computation- Normal and Deferred Tax
* Statutory Compliance
* Ability to convert finance and accounting business requirements into functional specifications, including BRD, FRD, SRS, and user stories.
* Experience in ERP implementation or digital transformation projects.
* Strong analytical, documentation, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Good understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
Educational Qualification
* Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
* MBA in Finance or Business Analytics will be an added advantage.
