The Assistant Manager of Sales is responsible for driving revenue growth within a designated territory or industry vertical. You will manage the entire sales lifecycle—from lead generation and technical auditing to closing deals and overseeing commissioning. A key focus is providing compressed air solutions (Screw, Reciprocating, or Oil-free) that optimize energy consumption for industrial clients.
Key Responsibilities
- Sales & Business Development: Identify and convert leads in sectors like Manufacturing, Pharma, Food & Beverage, and Textiles.
- Technical Consulting: Conduct "Air Audits" to analyze a client's current air usage and propose efficient system upgrades.
- Channel Management: Coordinate with dealers and distributors to ensure secondary sales targets are met and inventory is managed.
- Key Account Management: Build long-term relationships with Project Consultants and Purchase Managers to ensure your brand is "specified" in new factory tenders.
- Market Intelligence: Track competitor pricing, technology shifts (e.g., VFD technology), and lost-order analysis.
- After-sales Synergy: Collaborate with the service team to promote Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs) and genuine spare parts sales.
