Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Proposal Writer with 3–4 years of experience in proposal development, bid management, and government/commercial RFP responses. The ideal candidate will be responsible for researching opportunities, analyzing solicitation requirements, coordinating with internal stakeholders, and developing compelling, compliant, and winning proposals.
Key Responsibilities
- Review and analyze RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, ITBs, and other solicitation documents.
- Develop high-quality proposal responses tailored to client requirements and evaluation criteria.
- Create proposal outlines, compliance matrices, and submission checklists.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts, recruiters, technical teams, and management to gather required information.
- Write, edit, proofread, and format proposal content for clarity, consistency, and compliance.
- Manage proposal timelines and ensure all deliverables are completed before submission deadlines.
- Maintain and update proposal repositories, templates, resumes, past performance records, and boilerplate content.
- Conduct market and competitor research to strengthen proposal strategies.
- Ensure proposals comply with all solicitation requirements, instructions, and submission guidelines.
- Support post-submission activities, clarifications, and presentations when required.
- Track and maintain records of submitted proposals and bid outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, English, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 3–4 years of experience in proposal writing, bid management, or business development support.
- Experience responding to government, public sector, or commercial solicitations.
- Strong understanding of RFP/RFQ/RFI processes and proposal lifecycle management.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with proposal management tools and document management systems is preferred.
Preferred Skills
- Knowledge of U.S. Government, State, Local, and Education (SLED) procurement processes.
- Experience in staffing, IT services, consulting, or professional services industries.
- Strong editing, proofreading, and document formatting skills.
- Ability to manage multiple proposals simultaneously.
- Excellent stakeholder coordination and project management abilities.

Pay: ₹11,792.64 - ₹62,753.68 per month
