About the Role
Unlock Media is looking for a creative and passionate Video Editor & Content Creator who can shoot, edit, and create engaging short-form content for social media and paid advertisements. The ideal candidate should be camera-friendly, have a good visual sense, and understand current content trends.
Candidates must share their previous work or portfolio. Applications without work samples will not be shortlisted.
Key Responsibilities
- Shoot and edit high-quality Reels, Shorts, and advertisement videos.
- Create engaging social media content for multiple brands.
- Plan and execute content shoots with the creative team.
- Edit videos with smooth transitions, subtitles, sound effects, and color correction.
- Assist with camera setup, lighting, audio, and shoot execution.
- Stay updated with the latest social media trends and editing styles.
- Collaborate with the marketing and content team to produce high-performing creatives.
- Ensure timely delivery of assigned projects.
Required Skills
- 0-1 Year of experience in Video Editing or Content Creation.
- Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, CapCut, or DaVinci Resolve.
- Basic understanding of cinematography, framing, lighting, and storytelling.
- Comfortable appearing on camera whenever required.
- Good communication skills and creative thinking.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
Mandatory Requirements
- Candidates must have their own personal laptop. A basic laptop capable of running video editing software (such as CapCut or Adobe Premiere Pro) is sufficient. A high-end laptop is not required.
- Portfolio or previous work is mandatory.
- Candidates should share their Instagram page, YouTube channel, Google Drive link, Behance profile, or any previous editing projects.
- Applications without a portfolio or work samples will not be considered.
Preferred Skills
- Experience creating Meta Ads or brand promotional videos.
- Basic knowledge of motion graphics and visual effects.
- Understanding of Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts, and social media trends.
- Basic photography skills will be an added advantage.
