Job Title: Senior Accountant

Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to oversee financial reporting, general ledger accounting, month-end and year-end closing, reconciliations, statutory compliance, and financial analysis. The ideal candidate will ensure accurate financial records, maintain compliance with accounting standards, and support strategic financial decision-making.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Manage general ledger activities and ensure accurate journal entries.
- Perform bank, balance sheet, and intercompany reconciliations.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed assets.
- Prepare financial reports, budgets, and variance analysis.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Coordinate internal and external audits and resolve audit queries.
- Assist in forecasting, cash flow management, and financial planning.
- Identify process improvements and implement accounting best practices.
- Mentor and supervise junior accounting staff.
- Support ERP/accounting system implementation and enhancements when required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Professional qualification (CPA, CA, ACCA, CMA, or equivalent) is preferred.
- 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of IFRS/GAAP and financial reporting.
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Experience with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, NetSuite, or similar.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
