Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced, creative, and results-driven Social Media Manager (SMM) to manage and grow social media accounts for multiple clients.
The ideal candidate should have strong experience in social media strategy, content planning, campaign execution, audience engagement, analytics, and client management. The candidate will be responsible for developing effective social media strategies that increase brand awareness, engagement, online visibility, and support marketing and admission objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive social media strategies based on client goals and brand objectives.
- Manage multiple client social media accounts across Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other relevant platforms.
- Create and manage monthly and campaign-specific content calendars.
- Plan content themes, campaigns, social media activities, and promotional initiatives.
- Work closely with graphic designers, video editors, content writers, photographers, and digital marketing teams to ensure timely execution.
- Review and approve social media creatives, captions, videos, reels, and other content before publishing.
- Schedule and publish content while maintaining consistency in tone, branding, and communication.
- Monitor social media trends, platform updates, competitor activities, and audience behaviour.
- Develop strategies to improve reach, engagement, followers, leads, and overall social media performance.
- Manage community engagement, including comments, messages, mentions, and audience interactions.
- Coordinate with clients for content requirements, approvals, feedback, campaigns, and updates.
- Coordinate with photographers and videographers for photoshoots, video shoots, events, and other content requirements.
- Plan and execute social media campaigns for admissions, events, festivals, announcements, achievements, and promotional activities.
- Collaborate with the digital marketing team on paid social media campaigns and promotional activities.
- Monitor campaign performance using platform analytics and other reporting tools.
- Prepare and present weekly and monthly social media performance reports.
- Analyse performance data and recommend improvements to content and social media strategy.
- Maintain brand consistency across all social media platforms.
- Manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
- Take ownership of assigned client accounts and ensure smooth end-to-end social media execution.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Journalism, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in Social Media Management, Digital Marketing, or a Digital Marketing Agency.
- Proven experience managing multiple social media accounts or client accounts.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, YouTube, and other major social media platforms.
- Hands-on experience with Meta Business Suite, Canva, Google Workspace, and social media scheduling/analytics tools.
- Strong understanding of social media algorithms, engagement strategies, content formats, and platform best practices.
- Good understanding of content marketing, SEO, digital advertising, and online branding.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand and interpret social media insights and performance metrics.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong client handling and presentation skills.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and projects in a fast-paced agency environment.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and take ownership of responsibilities.
- Willingness to travel for client meetings, photoshoots, events, and content requirements when required.
