Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Pattern Shop Technician with hands-on experience in steel casting foundries. The candidate will be responsible for pattern making, pattern modification, repair, and maintenance for production and new product development.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture, repair, modify, and maintain foundry patterns
- Read and interpret engineering/component drawings
- Ensure dimensional accuracy of patterns before production
- Coordinate with Methoding, Design, and Production teams
- Carry out pattern corrections based on production feedback
- Maintain pattern inventory and proper identification
- Support development of new casting components
Required Skills
- Hands-on experience in pattern making and pattern maintenance
- Knowledge of steel casting, alloy steel, manganese steel or heavy engineering castings
- Ability to read engineering drawings
- Understanding of foundry processes, shrinkage allowance, and pattern correction
- Experience in pattern shop operations
Eligibility
- ITI or equivalent technical qualification
- 3–8 years of experience in a steel casting, foundry industries.
Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹40,000.00 per month
