Job Description – E&M Engineer (Electrical & Mechanical)
Qualification & Experience:
Candidates must meet either of the following criteria:
- Bachelor's Degree (B.E./B.Tech.) in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized university with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience in Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) systems.
OR
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering from a recognized institute with a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) systems.
Roles & Responsibilities:
The E&M Engineer shall be responsible for the operation, maintenance, inspection, and monitoring of Electrical & Mechanical systems to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient performance. Key responsibilities include:
- Operate and maintain Electrical & Mechanical (E&M) systems in accordance with applicable standards and operating procedures.
- Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance of E&M equipment and installations.
- Inspect, troubleshoot, diagnose, and rectify faults in electrical and mechanical systems with minimum downtime.
- Monitor the performance and health of E&M equipment and recommend corrective actions to improve reliability and efficiency.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations, statutory requirements, and quality standards during all maintenance and operational activities.
- Prepare and maintain maintenance records, inspection reports, logbooks, and equipment history.
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and other stakeholders for maintenance activities, testing, commissioning, and repairs.
- Supervise technicians and maintenance personnel to ensure timely and quality execution of work.
- Participate in testing, commissioning, and acceptance of new E&M installations and modifications.
- Ensure availability of critical spare parts, tools, and consumables required for maintenance activities.
- Respond promptly to breakdowns and emergency situations and restore system functionality within the stipulated time.
- Assist in planning maintenance schedules, shutdown activities, and annual maintenance programs.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the competent authority related to Electrical & Mechanical systems.
Pay: ₹55,000.00 - ₹58,000.00 per month
