We are seeking a Machine Learning - focused Senior Data Analyst to design, develop, and deploy advanced analytical and predictive models for retail/commerce use cases. The role requires strong ML expertise supported by solid Python and SQL capabilities to operationalise data-driven decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and deploy machine learning models for retail/e-commerce use cases such as forecasting, segmentation, and recommendations.
- Analyze large datasets to generate actionable insights and support data-driven decision-making.
- Perform data preprocessing, feature engineering, and model evaluation to improve performance and accuracy.
- Write and optimize advanced SQL queries for efficient data extraction and transformation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into scalable analytical solutions.
- Implement MLOps practices, monitor model performance, and build dashboards/visualizations for stakeholder reporting.
Requirements:
- Strong hands-on experience in Machine Learning model development and deployment
- Proficiency in Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, ML libraries)
- Advanced SQL (joins, aggregations, window functions, query optimisation)
- Experience working with large-scale structured retail datasets
- Strong understanding of statistics, model evaluation metrics, and feature engineering
- Retail / E-commerce domain experience
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Experience with model deployment and MLOps practices
- Knowledge of visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.)
