Role Summary
We are hiring a Junior Operations Specialist to support daily operations across multiple departments within our solar organization. This is an entry level operations role designed for someone with a strong customer service background, excellent communication skills, and a professional presence. Solar experience is not required. We will train on all technical aspects. What matters most is your ability to communicate clearly, stay organized, manage conflict, and take ownership of tasks. This role will rotate and support different operational teams including Interconnection, Project Management, Permitting, Inspections, and Scheduling. You will act as a coordination point between internal teams, customers, utilities, and partners to help keep projects moving forward.
Key Responsibilities
* Support multiple departments including Interconnection, Project Management, Permitting, Inspections, and Scheduling • Call and communicate with customers to collect information, provide updates, and resolve concerns • Coordinate with internal teams to keep projects on track and moving forward • Assist in scheduling appointments, inspections, and project milestones • Help track project progress and follow up on pending items • Communicate with utilities, AHJs, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders as needed • Maintain accurate notes, updates, and documentation in internal systems • Handle customer situations calmly and professionally, especially when delays or issues arise • Escalate problems appropriately while taking initiative to find solutions • Adapt quickly to working across different teams and priorities

You should be comfortable speaking with customers daily and managing different personalities and situations. Excellent Communication Skills Clear spoken and written English is required.
