- Tool Maintenance: Assist senior toolmakers with the assembly, troubleshooting, repair, and preventive maintenance of molds, dies, and fixtures.
- Machining: Set up and operate conventional toolroom machines (e.g., milling, grinding, drilling, and lathe machines) to custom-create spare parts.
- Blueprint Reading: Interpret engineering drawings, technical blueprints, and specifications to determine dimensions and tolerances.
- Quality Inspection: Inspect finished tools and molds for accuracy using precision measuring instruments like Vernier calipers and micrometers.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of tooling activities, die history, and maintenance logs.
- Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to workplace safety standards and maintain a clean, organized toolroom environment.
