Job Description – General Manager
The General Manager is responsible for the overall management and smooth operation of the hotel, ensuring the highest standards of guest service, operational efficiency, and profitability. The role includes supervising all departments, including Front Office, Housekeeping, Food & Beverage, Kitchen, Banquets, Maintenance, Accounts, Sales & Marketing, Security, and Guest Relations. The General Manager is also responsible for driving banquet and room sales, achieving revenue targets, maintaining quality standards, handling guest concerns, ensuring statutory compliance, and leading the hotel team to deliver exceptional hospitality.
The General Manager shall act as the head of hotel operations and has the authority to supervise all employees, assign duties, monitor performance, approve work schedules, coordinate with department heads, and make day-to-day operational decisions necessary for the efficient functioning of the hotel. The General Manager is expected to build corporate and banquet business, maintain discipline, control operational costs, improve profitability, and report directly to the hotel ownership while ensuring that all departments work together effectively to achieve the hotel's business objectives.
Pay: ₹30,000.00 - ₹55,000.00 per month
