About Luzion Lighting
Luzion Lighting Pvt. Ltd. is looking for a creative, technically skilled, and detail-oriented Lighting Designer to join our Lighting Design / Projects team.
The ideal candidate should be capable of transforming architectural drawings, elevations, project requirements, and client briefs into professional lighting concepts, technical lighting designs, realistic visualizations, and dynamic façade lighting presentations.
The candidate will work across indoor, architectural, landscape, and façade lighting projects and should have a strong balance of technical lighting knowledge and visual creativity.
Key Responsibilities
1. Lighting Design & DIALux
- Develop indoor and architectural lighting designs for:
- Residential projects
- Hotels and hospitality spaces
- Offices
- Retail spaces
- Commercial buildings
- Other architectural projects
- Create professional lighting calculations and simulations using DIALux evo.
- Prepare:
- Lux level calculations
- Lighting layouts
- Fixture placement
- Beam angle selection
- CCT and CRI recommendations
- Uniformity analysis
- False-colour diagrams
- DIALux calculation reports
2. Luminaire Selection
- Select suitable Luzion luminaires based on:
- Application
- Wattage
- Optics
- Mounting height
- Beam angle
- Required lighting effect
- Recommend appropriate fixtures according to project requirements and lighting objectives.
3. Façade & Architectural Lighting
- Develop façade lighting concepts for:
- Buildings
- Hotels
- Commercial developments
- Landmarks
- Architectural structures
- Develop façade lighting presentations demonstrating:
- Static lighting effects
- RGB / RGBW concepts
- Linear lighting effects
- Wall washing
- Wall grazing
- Accent and projection lighting
- Dynamic colour-changing sequences
4. Façade Lighting Animation
- Create animated façade lighting videos using Adobe After Effects.
- Demonstrate different:
- Lighting scenes
- Colours
- Movement
- Dynamic effects
- RGB/RGBW sequences
- Façade lighting transitions
5. Lighting Visualization
- Use Adobe Photoshop to create realistic day/night lighting visualizations on architectural photographs and renders.
- Prepare:
- Before/after visuals
- Multiple lighting concepts
- Realistic night views
- Client presentation visuals
6. Project Coordination
- Coordinate with:
- Architects
- Interior Designers
- Lighting Consultants
- Sales Teams
- Project Teams
- Understand project requirements, architectural intent, technical requirements, and client expectations.
- Assist the sales team during technical discussions and client presentations.
7. Drawings & Technical Documentation
- Review:
- Architectural drawings
- Elevations
- Reflected Ceiling Plans (RCP)
- Electrical layouts
- Support project teams with:
- Fixture specifications
- Fixture quantities
- Technical documentation
- Lighting layouts
- Design revisions
8. Design Standards
- Maintain Luzion's lighting design standards, technical accuracy, visual quality, and presentation standards across all projects.

- Architectural lighting
- Façade lighting
- Wall washing and wall grazing
- Cove and indirect lighting
- RGB / RGBW lighting
- DMX and dynamic façade lighting concepts
- Fixture positioning and aiming
- Architectural drawings and elevations
Candidate Profile
The ideal candidate should have:
- Degree/Diploma in Architecture, Interior Design, Lighting Design, Electrical Engineering, Visual Design, or a related field.
- Preferably 2–5 years of relevant experience in architectural lighting, lighting design, façade lighting, or a related field.
- A strong combination of technical lighting knowledge and visual creativity.
- Ability to independently develop a project from initial concept to final presentation.
- Good communication and presentation skills.
- Strong attention to architectural details, aesthetics, and lighting effects.
- Ability to understand client requirements and convert them into practical lighting solutions.
- Strong willingness to learn and work on diverse lighting projects.
Portfolio Requirement
Candidates are required to submit a professional portfolio demonstrating relevant lighting design experience.
The portfolio should preferably include:
- DIALux indoor lighting projects
- Architectural lighting concepts
- Façade lighting concepts
- Photoshop-based night visualizations
- After Effects façade lighting animations/videos
- Lighting layouts
- Lighting calculation reports
- Before/after lighting visualizations
- Client presentation samples
Candidates with strong façade lighting animation, visualization, and architectural lighting portfolios will be given preference.
