Site Compliance Executive
Location: Surendranagar, Gujarat
Position Summary
We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Site Compliance Executive to oversee and ensure compliance related to the Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act and other statutory labor regulations at project sites. The role involves coordination with contractors, government authorities, and internal stakeholders to ensure timely documentation, registrations, audits, and adherence to labor compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
BOCW & Statutory Compliance
- Ensure compliance with the Building and Other Construction Workers (BOCW) Act and related labor laws across project sites.
- Monitor and maintain statutory records, registers, licenses, and compliance documentation.
- Coordinate for labor registrations, renewals, cess compliance, and related statutory submissions.
- Ensure contractors comply with applicable labor laws and statutory obligations.
Site Coordination & Administration
- Coordinate with site teams, contractors, HR, admin, and legal departments for smooth site operations and compliance management.
- Support day-to-day administrative activities at site including accommodation, transportation, housekeeping, access management, and vendor coordination.
- Assist in maintaining discipline, documentation, and operational coordination at project locations.
- Conduct periodic site inspections and compliance audits.
Government Liaison
- Coordinate with labor departments, local authorities, and regulatory agencies for inspections and approvals.
- Handle queries, notices, and documentation requirements from statutory authorities.
Documentation & Reporting
- Maintain updated compliance MIS, reports, trackers, and audit records.
- Prepare periodic compliance status reports for management review.
- Ensure timely submission of compliance documents and records.
Desired Candidate Profile
- 4–8 years of relevant experience in labor law compliance, BOCW compliance, or site compliance management.
- Strong knowledge of BOCW Act, CLRA, labor laws, and statutory compliance requirements.
- Experience in infrastructure, construction, EPC, or industrial projects preferred.
- Good coordination, communication, and documentation skills.
- Ability to work independently at project/site locations.
