Job Summary
The Estimator is responsible for preparing accurate cost estimates, BOQs, quantity take-offs, and tender submissions for interior fit-out and design projects. The role involves analyzing drawings, specifications, vendor quotations, and project requirements to ensure competitive and profitable pricing.
Roles & Responsibilities-:
- Review architectural, interior, MEP, and shop drawings.
- Prepare detailed quantity take-offs and BOQs.
- Estimate material, labor, subcontractor, and equipment costs.
- Obtain and evaluate quotations from vendors and subcontractors.
- Prepare cost sheets, tender documents, and commercial proposals.
- Coordinate with the design, procurement, and project teams during estimation.
- Analyze project specifications and identify cost-saving opportunities.
- Handle client queries
- Should know how to read 2D/3D (Sketchup, Enscape)
- Update cost databases and maintain historical project cost records.
- Support project handover by providing approved BOQs and estimate details.
- Strong grasp of AutoCAD, MS Office (specifically Excel for cost modeling), and specialized estimation software.
- High proficiency in math, technical drawing interpretation, and market awareness of interior material pricing.
Qualification:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or Quantity Surveying.
Experience:
- 4 to 5+ years of industry experience in interior design, fit-outs, or commercial/residential construction.
Pay: ₹45,000.00 - ₹60,000.00 per month
