Job Summary:
The ETP Operator is responsible for the operation, monitoring, and maintenance of the Effluent Treatment Plant to ensure proper treatment of industrial wastewater as per environmental standards and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and monitor ETP systems including pumps, valves, blowers, filters, and chemical dosing systems
- Ensure proper treatment of effluent to meet pollution control norms
- Regularly check pH, TDS, COD, BOD, and other parameters
- Maintain log sheets and daily operational records
- Handle sludge dewatering and disposal activities
- Monitor chemical consumption and ensure proper dosing
- Identify and troubleshoot operational issues in the plant
- Coordinate with maintenance team for equipment breakdowns
- Follow safety procedures and environmental guidelines
- Maintain housekeeping and cleanliness of the plant area
Skills & Competencies:
- Basic knowledge of wastewater treatment processes
- Understanding of ETP equipment and operations
- Ability to handle chemicals safely
- Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Basic record-keeping and reporting skills
- Awareness of safety and environmental regulations
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹20,000.00 per month
