Position Overview
The Sr. Purchase Executive will be responsible for end-to-end procurement activities for ground-mounted solar
projects, ensuring timely availability of materials, cost-effective purchasing, vendor management, and
coordination with project execution teams. Candidates with EPC or infrastructure backgrounds handling civil and
electrical components are equally welcome to apply.
Key Skills
- Solar or infrastructure project procurement and sourcing
- Vendor development and management
- Commercial negotiation and cost optimization
- Knowledge of Solar Modules, Inverters, MMS, Transformers, HT/LT Materials, Cables, BOS items, or
equivalent civil/electrical infrastructure components
- ERP and procurement documentation
- Strong communication and coordination skills
Key Responsibilities
- Plan and execute procurement activities for solar or large-scale infrastructure projects
- Source and procure solar equipment, civil materials, and electrical components
- Develop and manage vendor relationships across multiple categories
- Obtain quotations, prepare comparative statements, and negotiate prices
- Issue purchase orders and monitor delivery schedules
- Ensure quality, quantity, and timely availability of materials at site
- Coordinate with Engineering, Projects, Stores, and Finance teams
- Maintain procurement records, contracts, and vendor documentation
- Monitor inventory levels and support cost-saving initiatives
- Stay updated on market trends and supplier developments
Eligibility Criteria
- Demonstrated experience managing procurement volumes of n100 Cr or more in a single financial year
- Solar-specific experience preferred but not mandatory; candidates from solar EPC, transmission lines (TL),
electrical infrastructure, power distribution, substations, roads/highways, or industrial EPC sectors with relevant procurement scale will be considered
Pay: Up to ₹1,000,000.00 per year
