Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage daily accounting operations, financial transactions, GST compliance, and inventory-related accounting functions for our FMCG manufacturing unit. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Tally/ERP, GST filing, and working in a manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Bookkeeping
Maintain day-to-day accounting entries in Tally/ERP.
Handle purchase, sales, payment, receipt, and journal entries.
Maintain general ledger and ensure accurate financial records.
GST & Tax Compliance
Prepare and file GST returns (GSTR-1, GSTR-3B).
Handle GST reconciliation and input tax credit.
Assist in tax audits and compliance documentation.
Inventory & Production Accounting
Coordinate with stores and production team for stock reconciliation.
Maintain raw material & finished goods accounting.
Monitor stock valuation and wastage tracking.
Banking & Vendor Management
Handle bank reconciliation statements (BRS).
Manage vendor payments and customer outstanding follow-ups.
Maintain proper documentation of invoices and vouchers.
MIS & Reporting
Prepare monthly financial reports.
Assist in finalization of accounts.
Provide financial data to management as required.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Commerce (B.Com mandatory)
M.Com preferred
2–5 years experience in accounting (FMCG/Manufacturing preferred)
Skills Required:
Strong knowledge of GST & taxation
Tally ERP / Tally Prime
MS Excel (VLOOKUP, Pivot Table)
Inventory accounting knowledge
Bank reconciliation
Attention to detail & analytical skills
Good communication skills
