Position: Telecommunications Project Lead
Engagement: Part-Time Support (2 hours/Day)
Experience Required
- 7+ Years in Telecommunications, Structured Cabling, or Low Voltage Systems
Required Skills
- Thorough knowledge of ANSI/TIA and BICSI Standards
- Strong understanding of NFPA 70 and its application to Telecommunications Structured Cabling
- Experience with Structured Cabling (Cat6 & Fiber)
- Data Center Cabling
- Low Voltage (ELV) Systems
- Wireless (Wi-Fi)
- Audio/Visual (AV) Systems
- Familiarity with Navisworks
- Experience responding to RFIs, RFPs, Submittals, and Substitution Requests
- Experience creating and managing project budgets and schedules
- Ability to identify and mitigate project risks
- Strong stakeholder, client, and vendor coordination skills
- Excellent project management and communication skills
Preferred Qualifications
- RCDD Certification (or ability to obtain within one year)
- Experience with Security Systems
- Electrical Engineering Degree or related discipline
- Experience installing telecommunications systems
- Experience reading and analyzing telecom test results
- Experience troubleshooting telecommunications installation issues
Responsibilities
- Coordinate telecommunications and structured cabling projects.
- Review engineering drawings and telecom specifications (DIV 27).
- Coordinate with clients, project managers, vendors, and internal teams.
- Support project planning, scheduling, documentation, and technical reviews.
- Ensure timely delivery while maintaining project quality and compliance.
Engagement: Part-Time (2 hrs/Day)
