We are currently seeking an experienced Offshore Senior Developer – RPA & AI Automation to lead the development, governance, and operational support of enterprise-grade automation solutions across a global programme.
Role Overview
The Offshore Senior Developer will play a critical leadership role within the automation delivery team, owning technical design, solution quality, governance, and operational oversight for RPA and AI automation initiatives.
The successful candidate will combine deep hands-on development expertise with architecture capability and team leadership experience. This role requires strong knowledge of UiPath, AI-enabled automation, enterprise infrastructure management, and automation governance practices.
The individual will work closely with client stakeholders, process owners, and the DH Automation team to deliver scalable and secure automation solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Automation Solution Design & Development
- Design, develop, and deploy complex RPA and AI automation solutions
- Define solution architecture and technical design for enterprise automations
- Develop automations using UiPath, Python, APIs, and enterprise automation frameworks
- Implement scalable and maintainable automation patterns and reusable components
- Support AI-enabled and agentic AI automation initiatives
Technical Leadership & Governance
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to offshore development teams
- Review deliverables from team members and ensure adherence to quality standards
- Conduct peer reviews and code reviews across automation solutions
- Ensure compliance with:
- Coding standards
- Security policies
- Documentation standards
- Automation governance frameworks
- Drive continuous improvement across automation delivery practices
Platform & Infrastructure Management
- Oversee UiPath Orchestrator and automation infrastructure environments
- Ensure platform stability, monitoring, and operational readiness
- Support infrastructure maintenance and operational governance
- Coordinate environment management and deployment activities
Operations & Support
- Provide operational support and monitoring for RPA & AI automations
- Support incident management, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and change requests
- Ensure operational support coverage during CET business hours
- Support coverage during German and Indian public holidays as required
- Ensure continuity planning and coverage for extended team absences
- Support stable platform operations under fixed-fee delivery models
Stakeholder Engagement
- Coordinate with the DH Automation team and business stakeholders
- Organise and support solution demonstrations for process owners
- Participate in architecture discussions and programme governance meetings
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of overall IT experience
- 7+ years of hands-on RPA and AI automation experience delivering large-scale programmes
- Strong experience with:
- UiPath
- Python
- API integrations
- Enterprise automation frameworks
- Experience with AI-driven and agentic AI automation solutions
- Strong understanding of UiPath Orchestrator and automation infrastructure management
- Experience providing operational support for enterprise automation platforms
- Strong leadership and mentoring capability
- Experience working within governance-driven enterprise environments
Preferred Experience
- Experience with SAP automation and enterprise ERP integrations
- Exposure to cloud-based automation environments
- Experience working within fixed-fee managed service delivery models
- Knowledge of monitoring frameworks and AI-assisted development productivity tools
- Experience working in global delivery and offshore support models
