About the Role
We are looking for a UI/UX Designer with strong product thinking and technical understanding to work closely with engineering, product, architecture, and business teams.
This role is ideal for someone who can move beyond visual design ,someone who can understand how a product works technically, identify usability problems in complex systems, and convert technical requirements into simple and effective user experiences.
What You’ll Do
- Work directly with Product Managers, Software Engineers, Architects, QA, and Business Analysts from requirement gathering through implementation.
- Understand complex technical workflows, system dependencies, APIs, data flows, and user permissions.
- Convert business and technical requirements into user journeys, workflows, wireframes, prototypes, and final UI designs.
- Design intuitive interfaces for complex applications, dashboards, portals, and enterprise systems.
- Challenge requirements when they create unnecessary complexity for users and propose better alternatives.
- Work with developers during implementation to ensure the final product matches the intended experience.
- Create reusable design patterns and component-based UI systems that can scale across products.
- Review existing applications and identify opportunities to improve usability, accessibility, consistency, and efficiency.
- Participate in technical and product discussions and communicate design decisions clearly.
- Work within technical constraints while maintaining a strong focus on user experience.
- Validate designs through usability testing, prototypes, stakeholder feedback, and product analytics.
- Support developers with detailed design specifications, interaction behavior, states, edge cases, and responsive layouts.
Technical Understanding
The candidate should be comfortable discussing concepts such as:
- Web and mobile application architecture
- REST APIs and JSON
- Authentication, authorization, and user roles
- Data-driven interfaces
- Front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue
- Responsive design
- Component libraries and design systems
- Accessibility
- Application workflows and integrations
- Basic HTML/CSS/JavaScript concepts
You don't need to be a developer, but you should be able to understand technical discussions and communicate effectively with engineering teams.
Required Skills
- Strong UI/UX portfolio demonstrating real-world product design
- Figma or equivalent design tools
- User flows, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity UI
- Design systems and reusable components
- Strong interaction and information-architecture skills
- Experience designing complex workflows
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to work with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking
Education: Bachelor's degree in Design, UX/UI, HCI, Computer Science, IT, Graphic/Interaction Design, or a related field. Master's degree is a plus. Equivalent professional experience with a strong portfolio will also be considered.
Pay: ₹40,000.00 - ₹100,000.00 per month
