Job Responsibilities:
· Picking medicines according to prescription.
· Checking medicine before dispense from the pharmacy
· Procuring outside medicines from outside pharmacy
· Checking returns medicine quality batch expiry marketing return quality in original packed bill before it goes for returning system.
· Stock checking every day
· Dispense and supply medicine based on a doctor's prescription
· Formulate and implement drugs policies and practices
· Checking expiry dates, batch no. of medicines
· Ensure that only quality drugs are purchased, properly stored and distributed.
· Billing and cash collection
· Receiving the medicines (i.e. stock) from the vendors
· In case of credit billing after dispensary the medicine bill should be handed over to billing department to the credit repaid
· While issuing the medicine check the expiry date and batch No. on the medicine and compare it with the bill entry
· Stock check at the end of the month is necessary
· A minimum stock has to be maintained in your category and indent to the pharmacy purchase in charge whenever necessary
· Any other jobs to be carried out as and when there is instruction from the HOD
· While taking the patient return they have to check the batch No expiry, Quality management properly
· Implement drug policies
