Job Title: Middle School English Teacher
We are seeking a passionate, creative, and dedicated Middle School English Teacher to inspire students in developing strong reading, writing, speaking, and critical thinking skills. The ideal candidate will create an engaging classroom environment that fosters a love for literature and language while supporting students' academic and personal growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Plan, prepare, and deliver engaging English lessons aligned with the school curriculum.
- Teach grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension, writing, literature, and communication skills.
- Develop lesson plans that accommodate diverse learning styles and abilities.
- Assess student performance through assignments, quizzes, projects, and examinations.
- Provide constructive feedback to help students improve their language skills.
- Encourage critical thinking, creativity, and effective communication.
- Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom environment.
- Integrate technology and innovative teaching methods into classroom instruction.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and concerns.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development programs, and school events.
- Prepare students for internal and external assessments where applicable.
- Maintain accurate records of attendance, grades, and student progress.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in English, Education, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- B.Ed. or equivalent teaching qualification.
- Minimum 2–5 years of teaching experience at the middle school level (preferred).
- Strong command of English language and literature.
- Excellent classroom management and communication skills.
- Proficiency in using digital learning tools and educational technology.
