Job Title: Accounts Assistant
Location: Worli, Mumbai
Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Assistant to support our finance and accounting operations. The ideal candidate should have strong knowledge of accounting principles, taxation, audits, reconciliations, and financial reporting, along with hands-on experience in accounting software and ERP systems.
Qualifications & Experience
- B.Com, M.Com, Inter CA, or equivalent qualification
- 3–5 years of relevant work experience in Accounts and Finance
- Experience in accounting, taxation, auditing, banking, and financial operations
- Strong understanding of accounting standards and compliance requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Manage accounting entries and financial transactions using Tally ERP
- Handle purchase and sales data entry, including inventory-related transactions
- Ensure proper GRN (Goods Receipt Note) linking with purchase records
- Conduct debtor and creditor scrutiny and reconciliations
- Follow up on supplier advances and maintain stock ledgers
- Manage petty cash records and site-related expense accounting
- Assist in GST accounting and integration through accounting software
- Prepare MIS reports and perform account analysis
- Handle bank reconciliations and support banking-related activities
- Assist in TDS, GST, Income Tax, and statutory compliance activities
- Support audit processes and account finalization activities
Required Skills
- Proficiency in Tally ERP, MS Excel, and MS Word
- Strong knowledge of GST, TDS, Income Tax, and accounting practices
- Experience in account reconciliation and financial reporting
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks effectively
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in handling Bank Guarantees and Drawing Power calculations will be an added advantage.
