Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced and detail-oriented AR Group Coordinator with strong expertise in US Healthcare Accounts Receivable, insurance billing, denial management, and payer follow-up processes. The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating AR activities, managing outstanding receivables, analyzing denial trends, and ensuring timely collections from insurance providers.
Essential Skills / Aptitude
- Strong knowledge of US healthcare AR, insurance billing, and payer guidelines.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Experience working with aging reports, denials, and appeals processing.
- Strong understanding of claim lifecycle management and reimbursement processes.
- Ability to coordinate with clients, insurance providers, and internal teams effectively.
- Proficiency in AR reporting and healthcare billing systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Monitor and manage the AR process, including claim submissions, follow-ups, and appeals.
- Ensure timely follow-up on unpaid claims, denials, and appeals with insurance companies.
- Analyze aging reports and take necessary actions to reduce outstanding receivables.
- Analyze and categorize denials to identify trends and root causes.
- Work with clients and insurance providers to resolve recurring denial issues.
- Act as a point of contact for clients, insurance providers, and internal stakeholders.
- Provide regular reports on AR performance, collections, and outstanding receivables.
- Ensure compliance with payer guidelines and organizational processes.
- Support process improvement initiatives to enhance collections and reduce denials.
Required Qualifications
- Any Graduate.
- 4–5 years of experience in US Healthcare AR / Medical Billing / RCM.
- Hands-on experience with denial management, appeals, and insurance follow-up.
- Familiarity with Medicare, Medicaid, and commercial payer processes.
- Strong knowledge of MS Excel and healthcare billing software/tools.
- Ability to manage multiple accounts and meet productivity targets.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in team coordination or process handling.
- Knowledge of healthcare compliance standards and HIPAA regulations.
- Strong reporting and data analysis capabilities.
